Cafe Crepe - Restaurant Review

Cafe Crepe

I had the 'Bocconcini Cheese, Tomato Basil, Olive, Olive Oil Grilled Panini Sandwich' with the 'Cheddar Cheese' add-on (cheddar cheese by request). It was the awesomest panini that I have ever had! Cafe Crepe has 5 locations all together, but this is my favourite because the food is always made just right. I went last night and it was better than ever before because of the cheddar cheese add-on which I recommend for this particular sandwich.

For any flexitarian or omniovore readers:
My two friends ordered the 'Chicken, Mozzarella Cheese, Tomato Grilled Cheese Panini' and the 'Chicken, Egg, Mayonnaise Savoury Crepe.' Although they loved their Chicken Crepe, they thought their Panini was just okay.

For dessert, we ordered the 'Nutella, Fresh Strawberry with hint of Cognac,' topped with Whipped Cream, which was a delightful treat.

We were very happy with our server, who actually was extra helpful by making our dessert Crepe look extra pretty because it was our friend's birthday. The only bad part about this experience was that he messed up our bill. After we paid and were just chatting outside the door, he came out and told us that we paid him less than we were suppose to. We showed him our receipt and he realized that he gave us the wrong bill. But it was a bit embarrassing, the way he approached us, as if we were trying to cheat him, when he is the one who messed up. It was just a mistake, but that did put a damper on our experience. Nonetheless, he did provide us with great service and we had great food, so it was worth it in the end.

Combined with great service provided by our server and the excellent food and drinks, this is definitely a place that all food lovers should check out.

Dr. Oetker - Panebello Pizza - Vegetables & Goat Cheese

Vegetables & Goat Cheese
Dr. Oetker - Panebello - Vegetables & Goat Cheese

This pizza is better than most restaurant pizzas, and is the best frozen pizza that I have tried. No, scratch that, it is the best frozen food out there. The bakery crust is my favourite part of this food wonder-it is light and fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The goat cheese, pesto, cherry tomatoes, red peppers and onions compliment the flavours really well, without being too much. Since I first tried this pizza, I've been having it atleast once a week.

Curious about calorie content? Only 270 calories per serving - 1/4  pizza.

(Product available at major grocery stores across Canada).
